Have you ever seen a child’s face the first time they can ride a bike? Have you ever seen a person’s face when they can leave their home in their wheelchair? Would you like to? If so, AMBUCS is for you!
National AMBUCS, Inc. is a non-profit service organization dedicated to “Creating Mobility and Independence for People with Disabilities”. The Cornbelt Chapter of AMBUCS serves people in McLean County, IL by:
- Building wheelchair ramps;
- Providing AmTryke® therapeutic tricycles to children with disabilities;
- Providing scholarships to students studying physical or occupational therapy, pathology or hearing audiology.
