Can you believe it?!… the middle of November… the grass is green and it’s in the 60’s!… the “Ramp Gods” must be smiling on us this year. And for our volunteers, we like the opportunity to build another ramp. So… Saturday, November 19th, we built another ramp in Bloomington. We met at Shannon’s restaurant in Bloomington (Mercer and Veteran’s Parkway) for some breakfast around 7:00a.m. and left for the ramp a little before 8:00a.m. that morning. We met at the home of Rosemary , who lives in Hilltop in Bloomington. We built a 33 foot ramp with one large platform that morning. Rosemary is not very steady these days and her family was concerned about her getting in and out of her home safely… so we’re going to make her life a little easier this Saturday. The weather was very and a great group of volunteers showed up, and we finished in near record time!
