Do you want to make difference in our community?
AMBUCS is for you!
Cornbelt AMBUCS is a local chapter of National AMBUCS, Inc. We are a nonprofit service organization serving McLean County Illinois since 1982.
Our main service is building Home Access Ramps (wheelchair ramps). We have built over 500 around the county. We also provide Amtrykes (therapeutic tricycles) to people from toddlers to adults. We provide scholarships to therapy students and serve in other ways in the community.
We currently have 38 members. Cornbelt AMBUCS monthly meeting is held the first Wednesday of each month. We meet at 12:00pm at Monical’s Pizza (near Best Buy), in the back room. Order your lunch at the front counter. We cover the news from the previous month. And we meet with AMBUCS friends, old and new, for a good time. There are yearly chapter dues to fund the operating side of the chapter.
