Ramp – August 10, 2019

We got a call from a family that needed a ramp at their home.  I called them, stopped at their home, tooks some measurements, and we discussed their options for a ramp at their home.  I obtained a building permit and we picked a date to build the ramp.  I sent an e-mail to our volunteers, got our lumber ordered and delivered, and we set out to build a ramp one Saturday morning.  Working with such a great team of volunteers, we finished the ramp in record time and the homeowner took his “maiden voyage” down his new ramp that afternoon with a big smile on his face!  Nice to see what we can do with such a great group of volunteers working together in this community.. and nice to see a great looking ramp completed at the end of the day.  Thanks, AMBUCS!
