National Conference

The Cornbelt Ambucs Chapter was well represented at the National Conference in Oklahoma City in July by seven club members. We received awards for:

• Living Endowment giving
• providing more than 10 Amtrykes
• exceeding the $50,000 threshold over the last 30 years in Living Endowment giving
• Visibility, third place in the nation in clubs less than 50 members
• Newsletter, second place in the nation in clubs less than 50 members.

Way to go Cornbelt!!

Al Bedell and Vicky and Denny Strauss received awards for outstanding giving to the William L White Foundation.

Our club gave Amtrykes to the child Jaydon and to the veteran Charles. Denny and Vicky Strauss sponsored an Amtryke for another child. It was a real heartwarming experience meeting and seeing the joy on the faces of the recipients and their families. The veteran’s ride was awesome to behold.

I have now attended two National Conferences. Each time I come away with the assurance that Cornbelt is an outstanding club. We build quality ramps, provide Amtrykes, provide scholarships, and have very strong and capable leadership.
