National Conference
The Cornbelt Ambucs Chapter was well represented at the National Conference in Oklahoma City in July by seven club members. We received awards for:
The Cornbelt AMBUCS 6th Annual Pancake and Sausage Breakfast will be held on Saturday, April 21, 2012, at the Second Presbyterian Church in downtown Bloomington.
From 8 am to 11 am we will serve pancakes, sausage, biscuits and gravy, orange juice, coffee and water. The price is $5 in advance, and $6 at the door.
Members: This is an important fundraiser for Cornbelt AMBUCS™, but it’s also an outstanding opportunity to raise awareness of the great work we do in the community. Ticket sales are important for this event, but bringing the community out to see our ramp and AmTryke® displays, and to see the fun we have working together, is equally important.
From Larry: I encourage you to do more than sell tickets, sell them to hungry people who will show up and eat pancakes!!
Ticket packages with all the information you need have been mailed. If you have any questions or need more tickets, give me a call at 287-3898, or drop me a note at lgturil@yahoo.com. I’ll make sure there’s plenty of butter and syrup for the pancakes, it’s up to you to make sure we have plenty of guests. Lets work together and make this breakfast a great success.

To date, more than $7.6 million in scholarships have been awarded to over 14,000 students pursuing degrees in physical therapy, occupational therapy, speech pathology and audiology. More ->
The Cornbelt Chapter of AMBUCS has formed their chapters Big Hat Club. The first meeting was held at 7:30 am on December 17, 2011 at Shannon’s 5 Star Restaurant. There were four members in attendance. Alan Bedell was named Chapter Big Hat President. More ->

Can you believe it?!… the middle of November… the grass is green and it’s in the 60’s!… the “Ramp Gods” must be smiling on us this year. And for our volunteers, we like the opportunity to build another ramp. So… Saturday, November 19th, we built another ramp in Bloomington. More ->
In October (National AmTryke® Month) Cornbelt AMBUCSTM gave a wonderful special girl her new bike. Cassie started out on an AM12 several years ago and has outgrown the AM12 More ->
Larry Turilli presented these year‟s scholarships. Scholarship Committee Chairman Pete Hettinger was unable to attend. We were able to provide three scholarships this year totaling $4,000. More ->
